Dailymotion, an independent video entertainment Web site company, recently announced the launch of its new high quality (HQ) video player.
"The debut of Dailymotion HQ video reinforces our commitment to delivering the best content and the most advanced technology to our audience and our contributors around the world,” said Mark Zaleski, the company’s CEO, in a statement. “Our superior playback capabilities have been a critical part of our rapid growth and success, and we pledge to continuously bring more enhancements and features to the site in order to give the best experience to our viewers, partners and advertisers.”
Dailymotion, intends to provide all of its customers with improved technological advantages and benefits via its new product, the new HQ Video Player. Dailymotion is an enterprise that not only provides its users an easy means of visual entertainment but also offers promotion opportunities for advertisers also. The new video player has been designed to allow viewers to set their own HQ player preferences by pressing the HQ button on the player control.
The new Dailymotion HQ video player aims to provide its users with an enhanced video performance without requiring an additional bandwidth.
For those who make use of a computer with a dual-core processor, broadband internet connection and a flash player 9, the HQ player will be able to support a higher visual quality and provide 512-by-384-pixels up to 30 frames per second (FPS).
The new Dailymotion HQ video player has been designed on the basis of the H.264 codec with its audio employing advanced audio coding (AAC) at 99 kilobytes per second (kbps).
The new HQ player also provides users the benefits of viewing the contents of the whole Dailymotion entertainment video catalogue including those uploaded by users with the same bandwidth. Those with extra bandwidth can also avail the features and facilities of the HD quality which is at hand for some of the videos.
